Fire going out

Fire going out.

Extinguish, me and they.
Expunge a soul who flares.
Cap the flames of my ardour.

Passion set fire to, quenched
The spirit of my desires,
Leading the field of progress.

Tinderbox of materials all damp,
From your wave rolling over,
Quashing the rising flame thrown.

A house of cards ignited,
Falls silent when you go,
For it weeps your loss.

Quelled this torch for you,
I know no more hope alive,
Where your light goes out.
