In the face of a mother

What a beautiful sight,
Your joy from children manifest.
Upon the face you use to smile,
And laugh from ear to ear.

Can others see, you be,
This happy from your worthy task?
I notice your patience lay bare,
The love you give so free.

The children react, equally happy,
A gift you are sharing here.
What love, what care, what flair,
For the role you exemplify.

I am tempted to declare aloud,
How wonderful it be to witness.
The passion that you hold for life,
A contented mother, no doubt a wife.
