Those Sultry Eyes

Those Sultry Eyes

Yes, yes, of course,
We all have eyes to see.
But, and here is the catch,
Sometimes they sparkle, they live.
Take on a life of their own,
Smiling back at me.

Sultry, sweet, tender innocence,
Like they have no memory,
Of pain having been seen.
Romantically they draw out,
The spirits of desire running deep.

Could it be a dream,
Of mine, coming true today,
When they draw me in ?
My heart flutters before you,
And my eyes bulge, surveying,
All the beauty of you.
