Here, there, and on the
wind.
So much frenzy came
today,
Where I saw your eyes
Melt my resolve to
resist,
So painfully near yet far
away.
Could you have been for
me,
And would the magic
That was unfolding here,
Eventually come to set me
free?
Bold as brass the smiling
clue,
That undid my barred and
sealed
Sanctuary, and in its’
wake
Left me, a mess of
feeling blue.
You were full of promised
light,
When you came and said to
me,
How much you wanted love
If I knew how to treat
you right.
