Political Justice

Political Justice

Dreams, fantasies, illusions,
Can make us feel the force,
Of all the power of want inside,
And much of the hope we need.
For in the arenas
Where decisions waste and fall,
The people voices are dying,
And most become filled with futility.

Love, peace, harmony,
Are the ways we prove we care,
Too much lack of our empathy,
Is deserted if we no longer share.
Hope alone won’t deliver,
So we’ll need to act as one,
Breathing justice into the political,
Is the way our work is best done.
