A Timely Bedathon !

A Timely Bedathon !

Storms are blowing gales,
Redeeming the light of life.
Casting my worries into the
Pillows and comfy duvet,
Chase away the devils work.

I needed to be near you,
And as luck would have it,
You're far away from here.
The baying of the wind,
Has shown a nagging doubt.
What life is there,
When I must go without ?

Safe beneath the cotton blind,
I hide my fears and rest.
Better to be snuggled, than
Chilled, a human sorely stressed.

I came to my pit,
A day ago, or so, who knows ?
I'm tucked well and truly in,
Couldn't care if it yet snows.
By virtue of no work to do,
I list and toss and turn,
What silence through me burns.

I do this more than want to,
To hide from living life.
The kind that kicked me,
Down again, before a fall..

Sometimes one needs a day of rest,
To say shit to getting dressed,
Sloth-ing in a feathered nest.

That's why I'm here,
Attending to my tranquil needs.
To escape the soulless daily deeds,
Performed when I'm not here.

The 'Hug'

The 'Hug'

Something very extraordinary,
Jewels sparkles bringing light.
More worth than golden ingots,
Clothed in peace before my sight.

A day for change delivered,
When I was waiting patiently.
Though you snuck in and shocked,
The soul I am emotionally.

I knew that I expected,
A message from the universal love.
But as you came with pronouncements,
I felt your peace become a dove.

How wonderful you noticed me,
And overcame the fear to speak.
You returned to me the sunshine,
Your gift is something quite unique.

Confused, I tried to understand,
The deliberate way you beckoned me.
For all I knew, this sacred moment,
My spirit soared, I'd been set free.

You couldn't know my reason,
To be blown away in awe.
Unless you'd read my spirit too,
In you the fountain of life I saw.

The pages of a fabled tale,
A kindred spirit helped me to see.
For as I opened up at random,
Your face was smiling back at me.

Eighty eight jewels sparkles out,
To the oasis of Arabian nights.
Where you had hugged a stranger,
Yet one you'd had in sights.

I cannot stress enough to you,
That 'hug' has saved my life.
Before you came, belief had wavered,
Hanging me above the wretched knife.

Such warmth, a random kindness act,
Brought tears to my hazel eyes.
The 'hug' of friendship moving me,
I really hope you'd realise.

So thank you, friend? For being brave,
The way I normally follow too.
My faith in life's unfolding plan,
Has been spurred on, because of you.

If one day I could return,
I hope I'd get the chance to.
Repay the energy you have shared with me,
To make all your dreams come true.

Yes YOU...

Are You Listening?

Are You Listening?

Calling out, can you hear ?
Am I hearing, are you listening ?
Do we dance in harmony ?
Has the world opened a door ?
Could it be the universal tongue ?
A language of companionship ?
Do we know the pathways ?
Are the messages being lost ?

When you call, I can hear you.
I am listening, are you hearing
The dance of our Harmony ?
Doors flung wide to enter,
Tongues of the universe call us,
To share our friendships.
Following the clear pathways,
Where messages are received,
And being worked upon.

Love Without Ownership

Love Without Ownership

Knowing the language of love,
Has great power to teach us truth.
For as we practice our purest acts,
We leave behind the stagnant love,
That cripples a chance to be happy.

I don't own you, nor you I,
We can come and go freely away.
But as the sunlight leaves the land,
And darkness settles over the earth,
I shall hurry home to you.

Sure that your words are your truth,
And that you cannot betray yourself.
My heart beats softly in memory,
Where you are my only daydream,
And forever the eternal voice of love.

I, my darling will carry this belief,
Training my soul to listen always.
Fearing nothing, fearing no one to come,
just as is written, Maktub...
You and I share this same soul.

The way of the world is compelled,
To title deed, each piece a trophy.
A land, a home, children too.
The woman who cares for his tribe,
And everything he desires to own.

But please be open, hear the voice
Calling on the scented desert breeze.
Where eagles roam and guard above,
I love you more than life itself,
Be free my love and call me yours.

Alchemy

Alchemy

Understanding how this works,
How the soul of the world speaks,
To me, to you to anyone listening.
And transfers, imparts all her secrets,
This is the master work I follow.

Coincidences, not to my eyes,
Throw more irons into the fire.
Melting more intensely the stone,
Burning bright the open spirit,
We cleanse with her inclusive fire.

Elixir can be found in love,
Nothing can consume it in death.
For it goes on forever, empowered.
Challenging the weak to grow, bolder,
Purge the fear from getting, older.

I Tell You This

I Tell You This

Children are the best
Friends you can ever have.
When they smile,
They smile for simple pleasure.
When they give,
They give for the greatest reason.
When they laugh,
All barriers will crumble away.

Children are the best
Copiers of what we do.
Be careful what you say,
That they will learn a truth.
Be careful what you are,
For they can see right through.
Be careful with their trust,
Don't spoil the love they carry.

Children See Me

Children See Me

It feels so wonderful,
But somehow a collision of.
All the world that are sleeping,
And those that are dreaming,
Brings a weirdness to understand.

Children see me,
For who I am, not more.
They have not the desire
To judge, my clothes, my hair
The tint of skin, but the soul within.

Clearly they allow their eyes,
To accept all of truth.
Don't filter through the lens,
Of hypocrisy and classic rules,
The man who passes by.

Eyes wide, eyes bright,
Hearts open to the light.
Children see me smiling,
When all about is in chaos,
And the world is upside down.

Bless them for their love,
I hope to share mine too.
My notion is, from what I see,
They are ready to take on,
The challenges that we've failed.

And as I see them watching me,
It fills my heart to overflow.
This joy is what were looking for.
They give love, don't ask for more,
So why do we not see ..??

All alone this Xmas

All alone this Xmas

There he sits, watching clocks
Long since stopped, no ticks no tocks.
No-one comes to share a smile,
His brand of humour is out of style.

I feel myself the painful silence,
But he has chosen emotional violence.
To be the mark he left on us,
Wallowing in self pity, he'll ever cuss.

I care that he is all alone,
Though this is what he's welcomed home.
For as we sow, we also reap,
His choice not mine, I cannot weep.

But I am praying, all my might,
That he may come to see the light.
And change the way he is to me,
Before he dies in his misery.
