World
of the Brave
A
frozen world of purest ice.
Snow
from ear to distant see,
What
compels thee,
An
adventuring thirst ?
Men
mountains in fleece,
Of
rock and determined spirits,
Courted
by blistering winds and,
The
Antarctican open landmass.
Dared
to dream, they came
Conquering
the challenges set.
Conquered
by the bitterness here,
And
frost bitten limbs they left.
Whiter
than the purest white
This
vastness drew them all.
And
Scott had been the best of them,
In
a world where even brave men fall.
