And
then I cried
It
has silenced even me,
this
airy light and tranquillity.
I
came to say a thankful word
for
here I knew, it would be heard.
So
many people pass you by,
don't
enter into you, or testify.
The
art of giving thanks for life,
Can
end the stranglehold on strife.
My
mood was rapid and full of pace,
till
I sat and smiled across my face.
The
doors were open welcomed in,
for
me to enter peace, the soul within.
And
as I sat and became aware,
the
heart of me was laying bare.
All
reason to be thrown aside,
my
spirit woke, and then I cried...
St Mary's Hinkley.
