Dos
Hermanos
Cain
and Abel fought,
For
a stupid reason then.
Cain
killed Abel, dead as stone,
He
never smiled again.
What
hatred brought brothers,
To
kill for ego's sacred name.
The
lowest form of feeling,
'Til
these present days remain.
This
enmity of siblings,
Has
changed the face of peace.
Allowing
room for no goodwill,
Between
the living and the deceased.
Let
not this be our story,
The
legacy we leave our young.
Open
hearts to act of greater love,
Be
the song that Cain had sung.
What have we learned from our savage history ?
