Act of Will
You may scoff, it is your right,
Though I'm sad you do not hear.
Why is it so hard for you,
To allow me to choose for me ?
This was not a folly to see,
But simply an act of my will.
I chose the path I'm walking now,
One, that you can all join with me.
A time I spent in my ignorance,
Where no light could ever shine.
Until that day I came to life,
And this chosen act has set me free.
I hope that you will see,
My motives rather than my sin.
For all have erred oh yes,
So where do we go from here ?
