The
spring has called early,
A
sparrow stops to peck my crumbs.
Yet
stirring are the daffodils,
Beneath
this carpet green.
Timid
little snowdrops blossom,
Forcing
out the winter chill.
I
excite to see them all,
My
new spirit comes to call.
Tired
form a winter long, gone,
My
aching limbs reach out.
No
longer thwarted by the cold,
Nor
a fear that I may fall.
Robin
had brought my message,
Change
is coming to restore.
How
I smile, for Rachel,
Who
has just walked through my door...!
R.
