Piper
Dam Scream
If
I could have screamed,
The
echoes would have died.
For
in a fury swirl and squall,
Nothing
carried but the wind.
Fears
unsaid, lost in the tempest,
Lost
am I almost, on this quest.
To
feel love, aspire to the best,
And
get this sound out of my chest.
The
birds have heard and left,
To
find their places in safety.
Nothing
can stand upon the loch,
For
the vengeance of my scream.
Better
comes the brighter day,
All
hope is blessed, I sail away.
Scream
to come and nerves to fray,
When
across the dam I scream, to say.
