Red and Green

Red and Green
‘The girl from Melton Mowbray’

Pencil straight and homely,
You’re a sight welcomed here.
Flame red locks and azure eyes,
My spirit throws me a door.

Opening it may prove less,
Than impossible, I see the bands.
What gift I realise taken,
For one so surely a lucky man.

Within the bounds of decency,
I fight to deny my wanting.
But I know this passion well,
Creating challenges to aspire.

So in immortal fiction,
I reveal only the faintest clue.
For magic would be needed,
To share my life with you.

American Trilogy

American Trilogy

Who is that standing clear,
Amongst the quiet shadows here?
Are you waiting, are you listening, dear?

Laura came again today,
I hoped that she had gone,
But come again in pain for me.

In Dixie land and fields of cotton,
Maybe my love is best forgotten,
Or love would stain and sour rotten.

What happened always undisclosed,
Why do they leave without real clue,
And just what fruits shall grow?

Mystery can always sell,
Books, Cd’s, trivial fiction, magazines aswell.
Though I believe no righteous hell.

When rain and hail fell,
Was it you guarding the gate,
A hero laid to rest within?

You really made the jailhouse rock,
Regaled in summer blossoms frock,
My fate sealed, you closed the lock.

Can passion be so easy?
Fire stoked as you loved me tender,
And leave behind you, suspicious minds.

And what of you now?
Who’s love can you still allow,
And what happened to our lovers vow?

As the days become complete,
I’ll fondly keep your memory,
Your inspirations have taught me well.

Animal Nature

Animal Nature

Who knows why,
Sometimes we do or say,
The most stupidest bizarre things?

Possibly I declare,
Because I failed to buy time,
To put brain into forward gear.

Now you’re here,
And my legs have gone to jelly,
I began to fathom yet more.

Wanting you badly,
Gives cravings for much deepness,
Beyond what I should have asked.

Then in stirrings,
My passions build for carnal lust,
And fulfilment has become a must.

Geordie Princess

Geordie Princess

Here a day, there a breeze,
Floating on the scented air.
I noticed in your smiling eyes,
A world you’d hope to save.

As red is the cross of love,
I pray your gifts be shared.
For in the light we hope upon,
The efforts of the Princessly one.

I heard a sweet yet powerful voice,
Before I glanced upon her face.
And as I listened to the sound,
I adored the Princess I had found.

I pray that all you hope to find,
Will come into your selfless path.
Reward you for the work you share,
Being the change that you may dare !

Things that go whoomp in the night.

Things that go whoomp in the night.

“You don’t scare me,” said Joe.
As the shee…..ite, it began to flow.
Trembling legs, jellified with fear,
Let me know, I’m getting outa hear.

Stranger the noises, thudding my pulse,
Why oh why do I come now?
When only each and every sound,
Makes me stall, my head goes round and round.

Imagination is it, or do I see,
That shadowy figure, creeping closer?
For I am trembling in its path,
What will be left, the aftermath?

Courage fled, upon the sunset breeze,
I’m a nervous wreck with knocking knees.
But I have come to see a ghost,
And travelled here towards the coast.

That I will know, once and for all,
If I’ll be bold enough, keep standing tall.
Alone and helpless that I’ll not run,
From a tale of witches deeds be done.

I know the stories hide a truth,
Of days of evil sought, beneath this roof.
So I pray I’ll know their breath of ice,
But hope they know, how to be nice.

To say I’ve stood within harms way,
And live to tell the tale, another day.
Then I won’t be frightened anymore,
And show the ghouls of darkness, to the door.

Paris

Paris

Exotic names, and hope,
Of passion with the decadence.
But you are nothing like,
Pretentious, nor let it be said,
A wild abandoned child.

In Topaz hues, I see,
A light of being loved alive.
Synthesis with all around you.
Even the tawdy wardrobe,
And the brash mascara,
Giving out a doleful laugh.

Many are the men,
That say they want you.
True is the desire,
They show to have you.
And still, innocence shows,
You take only those of faith !

English Meadow

English Meadow

Bitter shards of reminiscent ether,
Float beyond a day in shadow.
Once we lay upon yon’ meadow,
Golden corn and grass so sweet.
Lazy days when nothing mattered,
‘cept the lubbing of your heart.

I recall an all time fondness,
For a girl with auburn hair.
Sweeter than the taste of nectar,
Buzzing wild as summers laugh.
Going home and knowing heaven,
Laid beneath that crisp white linen.

So where did you go to,
When I still love beyond redemption?
Could it be, I failed to show it,
When paradise was in my hands?
Be safe my love, my little darling,
Your grace is known and not forgotten.

Agility Gone

Agility Gone

Never again shall I,
Leap from slumber as the Buck.
My divan is neither comfy,
Nor my bones free from pain.

The few short moments I,
Have reclined within the cot.
Left stiffened every tiny joint,
Paralysis like the rigor mortis holds.

Wizened in my only youth,
And caught short before my time.
The days cannot be ever free,
As once I’d ran to you.

Now I understand the clues,
I’d heard in days of my youth.
The old folk calling out in pain,
As they struggled to rise at dawn.
