Different
Pages.
At
a glance,
I
saw your lips moving,
Was
almost sure I heard a voice.
Some
great and wonderful light shone,
Out
into the world towards my heart,
That
only I could see.
It
felt good, I can tell you friend,
As
though I had met a kin,
One
whom shared the love for life.
Those
sounds I heard were joyous,
To
a man who's searched the world,
Resonated
in this tiny darkened room.
But
then the music moved on,
I
was silent and you still sang,
As
if the tune for you were different.
Had
I missed the beat, the rhythm?
Was
this not our song my friend,
Were
we singing from different pages?
