Going
into the night.
Back
drop of rain,
Golden
beaches went and came.
Pay
the ferryman,
For
your sinfulness,
Says
she , says we.
Abide
in darkness,
Live
in awkward fear,
Before
the righteous arrive.
Summoned
to judge me,
To
give a painful end,
With
daggers red and dripping,
An
old man staggers on.
Have
you known,
My
sordid little secret ?
Darkness
is my only friend,
Bedfellows
in equal amounts,
Where
frightful injustice
Robbed
the day of light,
Under
a blanket of unholy rain.
