Traditions
If
traditions, a giant be,
what
hope then, for you and me ?
To
follow in service,
an
illustrious ceremony grand,
does
not the reason,
by
comparison seem bland ?
If
tradition, worthy a goal,
what
brightness, will it add to a soul ?
Better
surely to behave,
for
the greater good of love,
rather
than only tick boxes,
observe
religiously without resolve.
If
tradition, builds affection,
Then
deserved shall it tend me.
Choice
of golden light,
warming
hearts of mortal men,
growing
peace in love and harmony,
where
we'll gain an eternal friend.
