Drinking Binge.

Drinking Binge.

Clouded the judgements,
Taken under the spell.
A healthy appetite destroyed,
As you ignore the, time bell.
Fill me up and take a chance,
To avoid the livers ruin.
When you don't know what's had,
What damage that you are doin'.
Time is lost in haze,
If you drink so much this day.
And demons come to shower you,
If your life will slide away.
Be not foolish, live a while,
Before you end the struggle.
Falling down and throwing up,
Leaves your senses in a muddle.
So I beg you now to think,
What waste your life will become.
If you can't string a sentence or,
Know what's healthy or fun....

Chic Heaven.

Chic Heaven.

Luckily I am single,
The chic's are really hot.
Everywhere I look to see,
Babes and honey's watching me.

Cover me in syrup,
To be as sweet as they.
Like nectar to a honey bee,
Their shapes are moving me.

Could I die intensely,
To be in their golden flow?
Bring my desire, open free,
And cover all of me.

Losing hope of innocence,
My resolve is failing me now.
I want what I can see,
To be riding all over me.

Quirky Luck

Quirky Luck

Being a doubter now,
I would have never seen.
How the universe would draw,
Me into the web of fate.
I saw you smiling,
By the gate, a lovely gate,
And knew you'd loved me too.

Pity me if I fall deep,
I notice how your senses weep,
Could you be mine, to always keep?

Being a winner now,
I can only dream bigger.
Take life at speeds full gait,
Where you have come to share.
I saw you hoping,
Did I really care, the deepest care,
For the fact you loved me too?

Fishwives of Staithes.

Fishwives of Staithes.

Beneath unearthly troubled skies,
An army of our women rise.
To search out the horizons wave,
A Coble of fish brings home the brave.

Arms folded tight, tongues a' wag..
They hope, they sew, fold dusty rag.
A day is full of worries too,
The rocks had taken a Schooner crew.

And when the catch is sold,
Can eat a crust without the mold.
Their husbands work be done,
Until next rising of the sun.

Her apron crisp and clean,
Is more than it would seem.
And the wagging tongues of wives,
Gut fish faster, than tempered knives.

In Durham Dungeon Durham Castle.

In Durham Dungeon
Durham Castle.

I had no trial,
Lest the walking I have done.
Listening I, to the call of love,
Intuition saw a way to share.
I came in a silver carriage,
Drawn by unseen horses,
Driven by an angel in spirit.
Taken in freedom to thy cell,
My Gaoler a kindly one,
Who spared me a painful time.
But here I sit now,
In the lowest heart of her,
The castle built upon this hill.
Durham shone before me,
And I cried for all this joy,
To be worthy of my justice.
From here I know a truth,
That comes from loving life,
This Gaol shall end all strife.

Evensong and Prayer.

Evensong and Prayer.

Still,
But echoes of prayers.
Durham is calling to god,
And sing they will in faith.
So clear
The words of simple folk,
Thrown from pillar to post,
And back,
Upon the alter here.
Belief has followed many men,
In years of loyal observance,
Glorifying the lord of heaven.

Still,
Thoughts combined in prayer.
To stand and sing joyfully as one,
Of all gods mercy,
To everyone.
Lessons of life and fabled days,
James and John and Peter came,
Following Jesus,
To sing this song.
Now in masonic majesty, we,
Listen still, and join to him,
As if we loved his only son,
Amen,
Amen,
Amen...!!

Whispering Grass.

Whispering Grass.

Bend ye to the floor,
A breeze is rushing through.
I can hear a voice beneath,
All of this Hullabaloo...

Telling me to count my days,
For love is coming in.
In a whisper oh so silently,
I find a clue what you begin...

Wild and free with daisy chains,
Your hair will be as gold.
Caught as quickly by the breeze,
Your secrets are being told...

Tell me more of my true love,
Your wisdom I shall hear.
Rustling in the sway of life,
I'll not fear what you draw near...

Skipping 'pon the timeless winds,
I see you shake and dance.
Courting me and all my heart,
How I love this arrogance...

Full of secrets to be told,
Come fill my heart with joy.
I ran some time between you then,
When I'd barely been a boy...

These days come all too quickly,
Where I have need of you.
The council of your bowing head,
In golden fields and skies of blue...

So tell me one last secret,
That I shall know her name.
I'll listen oh so carefully,
And know your happiness again...

Go Say, Milky Way

Go Say, Milky Way

Stretched out across the night sky,
I am marvelling at how,
You knew me when I came,
To be a son of yours.
Celestial embodiment of all of life,
Of all of time and space.
You flew and shone, ethereal,
For hours, 'pon me and she.

Glittering a prize of light,
Your openness I always follow.
Taped across my eyes tonight,
I have always felt you talk to me.
And as I listen to this love,
My soul becomes full of power,
I walked beneath you gladly proud,
To be at one with you.
